Project scope: An existing highway winding through a rocky mountain range with a particular section that has a vertical slope of 32 metres. Rocks and boulders occasionally rolled down this slope that caused damage to the highway surface and it is also a grave danger to motorists. VPS has suggested using Shotcrete (Sprayed concrete) with Rock bolting method as the key solutions to stabilize the slope. Initial discussion has been made with Local Government and we are waiting for final approval.
